lthough the Smartflex 8×10 is extremely lightweight, using it well still requires a certain level of skill—after all, it is an 8×10 camera.

To address this, we specifically designed and manufactured a user-friendly platform suitable for large-format and even ultra-large-format photography, aimed at improving ergonomics and overall usability for large-format photographers.

First, we completely redesigned the tripod head, taking inspiration from the Ries A250 and refining the control handles to make operation smoother and more intuitive.

We also designed an extremely robust center column in-house. For the tripod itself, we chose the Marsace carbon fiber tripod, known for its excellent performance and handling.

In addition, we developed a matching ground dolly that is easy to deploy, pick up, and store. The entire system is very compact, offers outstanding load capacity, and performs exceptionally well in terms of stability.

It is an ideal companion for the Smartflex 8×10 system.

The price is USD 550 with worldwide shipping included, which we believe is a very fair and honest price.

For Selecting Lenses

Common Large Format Lenses(symmetrical design) with focal lengths of 180mm and 210mm can bedirectly installed and used.
lf you use a Non - Telephoto Lens with a focal length of over 240mm, it isrecommended to install the lens with a raised (extended) lens board.
The Flange Focal Distances Oftelephoto (T) Lenses vary. Please install and use them according to the actual situation. Base on our current testing, the 300mm T-type Lens has been successfully fitted.
